My name is Mandy Hook and I am the owner of Putt'n on the Ritz. I opened my shop February2005.

I worked for 2 local consignment shops before I decided to open my own. I enjoyed the business and liked the concept that people can bring in their items that they have paid top dollar for, display and sell them for a percentage of what they have put into them.

I have tried to make my shop quaint and inviting for my customers and consignors. I strive to improve it everyday.

I decided on the name Putt'n on the Ritz because I wanted it to resemble the class of our historical San Marco area. When you think of San Marco, you think of a ritzy area!

I chose my logo because it shows a passionate statement and that is how I feel about my business !

After  being open for only 2 months I added Tyler Candles.

I wanted to make my shop smell nice for my customers.

 I  purchased a Tyler candle from a gift shop to burn in my shop.

The first day that I had it burning in my shop I had a customer that came in and went crazy over my candle, she said that she has been searching for them and could not find them. I did some research and found that no one in my  area was carrying them, and I decided at that point to carry them in my shop, and the rest is history!!

 I now have a whole room dedicated to Tyler Candles.
